Who will I vote for?

In the mailbox this week I received my voting papers for those standing for public office in our local body elections. So many different people standing, so many different agendas, along with all sorts of promises of what they will or won’t do. How on earth are we supposed to choose?  We could choose the person who most agrees with our own agenda, whatever that might be. Or we can instead try and choose the people who will act with honesty and integrity, doing what is best for all those who live on the Kāpiti Coast. And sometimes that may be things that don’t match my agenda. We need people we can trust, even when, we may not like or agree with their decisions. So time to check them all out.

This Saturday from 4-6pm we have invited 10 local candidates to speak on Building well-being on the Kāpiti Coast. Come and join us in person at 77 Ruapehu St or watch online at https://youtu.be/ATESNvhRcPg

If you need support during this time then please make contact with Andrew on 0223075225.

To join with us on air tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...  The message and prayers will also be posted to the sermon page on this website.

If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to then please email us at office@pb.org.nz and we will make contact with you.

This Sunday What is it that we are invited to be part of as God's people?  Whose mission are we called to participate in? Our own or God's? In this series, The Mission of God, we are going to explore how big the Gospel story really is.

Mainly Music – Wednesday from 10.00am. We do ask that you wear a mask. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.

And we are also on Facebook  https://www.facebook.com/parap...
