Through listening comes awareness,
through awareness comes understanding,
through understanding comes knowledge,
through knowledge comes life and well being.

This whakataukī reminds us that listening is the basis of understanding, not just of knowledge but also others and the world around us. This Wednesday we are hosting a meeting to listen and hear your views on the Governments Climate Change Adaption Plan. This is a plan that will impact all of us in some way and so we want to hear your views and then share them with the Government.

So to help with your understanding take time to look at the plan, available at this link https://environment.govt.nz/news/engagement-on-draft-national-adaptation-plan-and-managed-retreat/

Come to listen, to speak but most of all to grow your undeerstanding of the issues we face.

Check our previous post for more informtaion.

Mainly Music – This Wednesday from 10.00am. We do ask that you wear a mask. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
