Follow Me

Twitter offers us the chance to ‘follow’ others. Their ‘tweets’ have the ability to inspire, challenge and mould our thoughts and emotions. Like anything that influences us that can be both good and bad. We may be inspired to lose weight. We can be challenged to help others in need. And if we aren’t careful we can be moulded to believe things that may just not be true. I wonder who it is that you follow? That person who influences how you will live out your life.

Jesus calls us to follow him, to build our life and practices on the things he taught and the way he lived. As we head into a new year who will influence your decisions this year? And what impact will that have on your life and the lives of others you come into contact with? I hope that it will be someone who helps you to bring life and love to others.

This Sunday We will be thinking about the call of Jesus to ‘Follow me’. What does that look like for us today?
