This coming Sunday we are going to be reflecting on prayer – prayer as the basis of our relationship with God. Today one of our elders suggested that as we look to the future we need to be praying – asking God what it is we should be focussing on and doing post Covid-19. This is perhaps the hardest form of prayer – where we keep our requests silent and instead seek to hear God’s voice. It is so easy to tell God what we think we need or to ask things on behalf of others but taking time to listen isn’t quite so easy. This week can I encourage you as you meet with God, to listen, to hear God’s invitation to the future whatever that might be for you or for us as a church.
Hopefully you have been able to join our radio services over the last couple of weeks. You can listen on air, Sundays @10.30am and again @ 8pm on Thursday evening on Coast Access Radio 104.7FM or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz/Listen/index.aspx The message and prayers will also be posted to the sermon page on this website.
If at this time you need someone to chat with then please call Andrew 0225166334 or the church office 2987766 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back to you.
