Ezekiel’s river starts small — just a trickle from the temple — but it does not stay that way. Step by step, it becomes ankle-deep, knee-deep, waist-deep, and finally too deep to cross. What a hopeful picture. God’s life is not thin or limited. It grows, moves, and reaches the places that seem furthest from renewal. Even the Dead Sea, a place known for barrenness, becomes fresh and full of life. That is good news for creation, and for us. The Season of Creation reminds us that God’s healing is not only for human hearts, but for rivers, oceans, trees, creatures, and communities too. We are invited to step into that living water and let it change us. As we receive God’s healing, we are called to share it — caring for people, rivers, land, oceans, and all living things. Small acts of care can become streams of hope.
This week we join in with the season of Creation and the theme ‘Living Water’. We are looking at Ezekiel 47 1-12.
A children’s programme is available during our service for 5 to12 year adults. Creche available for younger children.
