Not too long to go now for all those who find the ‘waiting’ for Christmas so hard. I know my grandkids are keen for the big day to arrive. For them there is the excitement of presents, both the giving and receiving they are looking forward to. Even with the best of intention the story about a baby, fades to the background. And I wonder about us as adults. How easily do we get sidetracked with all the glitter and excitement and the story of the baby born to save the world, gets lost from view. I wonder what you might do to recapture the story? Is there some small tradition you could use to remind not just the little ones but us as well, that Christmas with it’s message of hope, peace, joy and love really has its roots in a little baby.

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
