Advent two - Peace

Almost 2000 years ago some shepherds heard angels singing and proclaiming, ‘good news’. The Messiah was born and this Prince of Peace, as the prophets called, had come to gift peace to all. Peace with ourselves, peace with others and peace with God. I wonder what it might mean for us to lay down our arms, our battles, our enmity and instead allow the peace of Christ to bring us together. This Christmas may you be the one who offers peace to those who desperately need to hear it.

Got questions about Jesus? Why not check out the ‘Who is Jesus?’ link on the page menu.

If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to, then please email us at office@pb.org.nz or call 0223075225 and we will contact you.

Join our carols party as we hear the Christmas story through the eyes of a donkey.  Sunday 14 December from 4pm. Carols, fun and laughter.

This coming Sunday: We begin the season of Advent. The season of waiting and hoping for God to act.

A children’s programme is available during the service and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air, tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
