A Promise Kept

It is easy for politicians to make a Promise – If we get elected, we will do this…… The hard thing is keeping those promises and a failure to do so has resulted in many politicians finding themselves without a job. The public it seems has a low tolerance for those who promise much and then fail to deliver. In fact, I suspect most of us have a low tolerance for anyone who makes a promise and then fails to keep it. How often have your children said, “But you promised!”

Genesis 21 is the story of a promise made many years before, finally coming to fruition. And the promise fulfilled is treated with much joy and fanfare. I wonder what promise you may have been waiting to have fulfilled. How hard has the waiting been? How will you celebrate when it finally happens?

A children’s programme is available during the service and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air, tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
