One of the great banes of modern life especially regarding online finances is the emergence of scammers. People who offer us all sorts of amazing almost unbelievable deals. Give us your money and we will double it! We have a deal that can’t be beaten. But it’s not just the online scammers, we are surrounded by advertisements and people offering us the best deal of our life. And what is tragic is that people do believe and they give away access to their assets.
But what happens when the promise is true and the one making the offer is someone who can be trusted? How willing are we then to place our hopes and dreams into their hands. Do we trust or do we turn away laughing unable to believe that what they offer could ever come true? I wonder what you might do when such a promise is made? What if the promise was made by God?

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
