The words from a famous song ask an existential question? Who are you? Not just your name but you yourself. Who are YOU? Sometimes we think we know people really well and then they do something that highlights how little you really knew them. Last week while in hospital, I got to overhear the conversation in the bed next to mine. And it occurred to me that I knew nothing about them or the culture they came from. They were New Zealanders, but not like me, and our worlds are completely different. Their values, their culture even their language seemed foreign to me. And I found myself asking the question, who are you? If I could step into your world, what would I discover about you and the things that are important to you. And I wonder what I might have learnt about myself.

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
