Sometimes it can seem as though Christianity is very complicated. Lots of different churches, lots of different emphasise on different parts of the Bible. For the non-church goer it can all seem a bit confusing – why so many different ones? Why can’t there just be one? Is there anything you agree on?
That last question is the big one because at the centre of Christianity, in all its different flavours and cultural expressions, is the person of Jesus the Christ. Everything we do and believe is centred on our belief in the person of Jesus. Following Jesus is at the very centre of our faith, in the end nothing else matters.
Got questions about Jesus? Why not check out the ‘Who is Jesus?’ link on the page menu.

This coming Sunday: We continue our series looking at the letter of 1 John. Why was this letter written and what might it have to say to us today?
A children’s programme is available and a crèche for younger children.
To join with us on air, tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...
Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
