We need each other

I have spent the last week in bed with Covid. Finally, after 4 years the dreaded bug caught up with me. Isolating at home and feeling terrible while you do it is not the best way to pass the time. Fortunately for our house we are part of a caring church community who have dropped off delicious meals and treats and made an effort to care for our wellbeing. It has reminded me how much we need each other and how easy it can be to take it for granted. Not everyone is so fortunate, there hundreds of others in our community who struggle through life on their own. No offers of food, no one asking if they are alright. For them life can be lonely and tough. I wonder who you could show care to this week. I wonder who in your community needs to know they are not forgotten.

If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to, then please email us at office@pb.org.nz or call 0223075225 and we will contact you.

This Sunday @ 10am Andy BW will be preaching on the story on the Emmaus Road story as Jesus opened the Scriptures to renew the faith of his companions as they travelled together.

A children’s programme for children aged 3-8 is available during the service and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesday from 10.00am. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
