Can you see?

Someone gave me the following words by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Earth’s crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
But only he (she) who sees
Takes off his (her) shoes,
The rest sit around it and pluck blackberries.

Sometimes it is hard to see the hand of God in our world, not because God isn’t present, but because God appears in ways we least expect. Over the last couple of weeks, I have seen the generosity of God expressed through people who have gone out of their way to help others. Take a good look around your world and maybe, just maybe, God is there if you open your eyes to see.

If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to, then please email us at office@pb.org.nz or call 0223075225 and we will contact you.

This Sunday @ 10am we will continue our series as we look at all the one-another expressions in the New Testament that encourage us in our life together. If you want to check out those one another’s have a look here. I wonder which ones you might find hard to do.

A children’s programme for children aged 3-6 is available during the service and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesday from 10.00am. In recess until Wednesday 19 July. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.

And we are also on Facebook  https://www.facebook.com/parap...
