Looking for answers

We live in an age of uncertainty. The future is far from certain. Politics has become increasingly divisive, countries more willing to use force to achieve their goals and an environment that is experiencing enormous change. Even in our own country we face uncertainty with our economy with a government bringing huge change for so many. In a time of uncertainty what do we look to, to help us cope? What do you turn to, to help you cope? Maybe it is the hope of winning lotto, or some form of drug to ease the pain and anxiety. Maybe we cope by trying to change everything around us, our jobs, our partners, our location. Perhaps at such times we look for some sort of spiritual answer to help us make sense of life. Two thousand years ago Jesus made the claim that he was the answer to all our questions, to all our doubts and fears. “I am the way, the truth and the life.’ John 14:6. I wonder if he might have some answers for you, whatever it is you are facing. Why not check him out and see?

Mainly Music – Currently on a break for school holidays. Resumes 1 May 2024. Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
